I appreciate that you've pointed this out to me, but I need a better understanding as to how this works. Is it possible to change this color or to choose another default? Even choosing another default wouldn't necessarily work for me as I often use multiple highlight colors in a document. This makes me think that the pale yellow highlight isn't the same as a regular highlight. There is no control for speed but changing font size will help somewhat. The yellow remains and small bands on the top & bottom of the yellow highlight show the color that I've chosen to change (pink). Alt+B toggle bookmark Alt+T spell out time (does not work in Kindle 3 but you can hit Menu button to see time) Alt+0 (zero) enable/disable slideshow (note that this will also work with text.
